The Winter/Spring Session of our BRAC Small Groups began the week of 1/7/2018.  Contact the Church Office or mark your Communication Card, and Pastor Andy will call or email you about how YOU can join! Wondering why you should join a small group? Find out by watching the video below!

Why Small Groups?

What is a Small Group?

It is an intentional gathering of 8-14 people who commit themselves to regular meetings for the purpose of forming transparent and Christ-centered relationships.

How often do groups meet?

Groups are encouraged to meet at a minimum of every other week.

What does a typical Small Group meeting look like?

15-30 min. of socializing & announcements, 45-60 min. of discussion, 15 min. of prayer.

What is the administrative structure of a Small Group?

Small Groups include a leader, possibly an apprentice leader, and a host home. Small Group Leaders report to the Small Group Coordinator or Pastor.

What is the duration of a typical Small Group?

Anyone who wants to join a Small Group commits on a semester by semester basis. At the end of every semester, individuals can choose to exit the group or find a new group. (1st semester = September – December. 2nd semester = January – June). A Small Group can continue meeting for as long as it would like.

Are the small groups open or closed?

Once the semester begins, the group is (mostly) closed. At the start of the new semester, groups may receive new individuals, as long as the number does not exceed 14. New groups will be added as new leaders emerge.

What is the Biblical content of small group meetings?

Every Small Group at BRAC will be discussing the same material based on recent sermons. (“Apply It!” questions for each week can be found with each Sermon video under the Resources tab under Sermons.)

How do I sign up?

Please contact the Church Office or mark your Communication Card.
