Our Pastor - Dave Bretch
Dave Bretch serves as Lead Pastor of Beartown Road Alliance Church. He is passionate about inspiring people to reach their local communities with the good news of Jesus Christ. He and his wife, Jenn, have three young sons and a baby daughter.
What are some things that you do when not at church? I enjoy playing sports and board games, hiking in the woods, and getting ice cream from Peaches and Cream as often as possible.
What is your favorite verse and why? 1 Corinthians 2:4-5 "My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power." I love to preach God's Word. My hope is that people exit the worship service every Sunday having experienced God's power and a renewed commitment to reach their neighbors and community with God's love.
What is your background for schooling? I received my B.A. in Speech Communications from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA in 2000 and Masters of Divinity from Trinity School of Ministry in Pittsburgh, PA in 2009.
